What is Pravaha-yog about ?

This is a space to slow down and understand what is actually happening inside you. Not as a theory, but as lived experience in the body and nervous system.

You do not need to fix your mind. You do not need to force positivity. You do not need to “be better”. Instead, we identify where tension is being held, where breathing is restricted, and where attention is stuck in pressure or overthinking.

The work happens through the body, breath, and attention. As the system releases holding patterns, people often feel lighter, clearer, and calmer. Breathing becomes deeper, the shoulders and jaw soften, the mind stops scanning as much, and the body begins to return to flow without force.

What a session looks like

  • A short check in to understand what is present in your body and mind today, including tension areas, energy levels, and what you want from the session

  • Gentle movement and breath guidance to settle the nervous system, soften holding patterns, and bring awareness back into the body

  • Optional guided stretch or supportive touch, only if you want it, always explained beforehand, and only with clear consent (you can decline or stop anytime)

  • A quiet closing phase to integrate the changes, regulate the system, and leave feeling grounded rather than overstimulated

This work is for people who are tired of managing themselves.

Not in a dramatic way, but in the quiet everyday way where the mind stays switched on, the body stays tight, and even rest does not feel like rest.

It is especially suitable if you:

  • feel mentally exhausted but cannot point to a single clear reason

  • notice the same patterns repeating even after insight, journaling, or self work

  • carry tension in the body that thinking does not dissolve, such as tight jaw, tight chest, stiff neck, or heavy hips

  • feel overstimulated, emotionally loaded, or internally on guard without wanting to turn it into a story

  • want clarity that is practical and embodied, without needing to adopt a belief system, identity, or ideology

This work may not suit you if you are looking for:

  • a quick fix, shortcut, or dramatic breakthrough

  • strong spiritual framing, ritual language, or forced positivity

  • someone to tell you what your problem is, what to believe, or what to do

Pravaha is not about being convinced. It is about being understood and then working with what is real. The process is collaborative, paced, and grounded. You always have control of boundaries, consent, and intensity. Nothing is forced.

If this feels more relieving than exciting, that is usually a good sign. A short conversation is enough to see whether it fits.

Q: Is this therapy or counselling?

A: No. These sessions are not clinical therapy. They are body-based and reflective practices for awareness and self-understanding. ( Using Vipassana and Patanjali Yogsutras)

Q: Do I need to be spiritual or experienced?

A: No. No beliefs or prior experience are required.

Q: Is touch mandatory?

A: No. Touch is always optional and consent-based.

Q: Is this suitable for men?

A: Yes. Many men come specifically because body-based work feels more accessible than talking alone.

Q: What if emotions come up?

A: Emotions are welcomed, not pushed. You remain in control
